Investing in conservation
The 'Adopt a Turtle' campaign was launched on the 17th of May 2007. This initiative was met with a wave of success, with over 864 turtles adopted. It drew generous sums of donations from members of the public who were elated to see a voice of reason in the areas of conservation.

Learning with technology
Funds collected were used to purchase microchips that were used to implant on turtles to assist in uniquely identifying them and their locations. This data is extremely important to our Malaysian turtle research groups in their conservation work
