About me
Hey there, I'm Gigi, the bamboo shark. I am also known as a cat shark because of my barbells that looks like a cat's whiskers.

Interesting Facts about me
We are known for our diminutive size, and from our light and dark brown bands extending down the length of our body with numerous white spots. Full grown, I can easily reach up to three feet in length.

Unlike most sharks, we have short, pointed sensory organs called "barbels" attached to each nostril that are extremely sensitive. We are nocturnal animals, so therefore we like sleeping during the daytime and we prefer to come out to play and hunt at night.

You can find me at the DNA touch pool and the Coastal tank.

Size & Weight
I'm currently 12 inches long but I have been known to grow up to 41 inches.

Diet
My favourite meal would include shrimp, scallop, squid, and other marine fish.

Habitat & Range
I live in the warm waters of the Indo-Pacific region.
