About me
My name is Silver, and I'm a moon jelly. You might have noticed that I'm literally transparent, and you can see through me. Long long ago, my ancestors reminded fishermen of torches borne in the night, as our bodies reflected the light off moonlit skies to guide them on their way home.

Interesting Facts about me
We jellies lack respiratory, excretory, and circulatory systems. As you've probably guessed by now, my species, which is the Aurelia do not have respiratory organs such as gills, lungs, or trachea. We have four bright circular gonads under our stomachs

Size & Weight
My maximum size is 40cm.

Diet
I eat zooplankton. In Aquaria, I have been feeding on Artemia salina.

Habitat & Range
I am found throughout most of the world's oceans, from the tropics to as far north as 70° latitude and as far south as 40°. I live in ocean water temperature ranging from 6 degrees to 31 degrees centigrade. But I feel cozy on temperatures between 9 to 19 degrees centigrade.
