About me
Hello friends. I am a Giant Pacific Octopus, and I am the largest octopus species in the world!
Interesting Facts
Being a very intelligent creature, I have learned to open jars, mimic other octopuses, and solve mazes in lab tests. Additionally, like my others members of Octopus family, I can change colour and textures of my body to blend in with coral patterns, plants and rocks.
Where can you find me in Aquaria?
You can find me in my very own tank in Aquaria near the big main tank we call the Living Ocean.
Size & Weight
I can grow up to 20 feet from tip to tip of outstretched arm, and up to 150 pounds!
Diet
I usually hunt at night and my favorites foods are fishes, shrimps, crabs, scallops, clams and other shellfishes.
Habitat & Range
I love to stay under rocky areas, caves and kelp forests, from the shores to depths
of more than 500 feet. I can be found from Pacific Ocean to the Aleutian Islands and Japan.
