About me
Hi everyone! My name is Khudsiah. I weigh around 150 kg and measure close to 3 meters in diameter. If you see me swimming around, please do stop by to say Hi, especially during my feeding sessions.

Interesting Facts about me
My mouth is at the bottom of my body while my eyes are on top. This makes it difficult for me to see my meal. But I have a very sensitive sense of smell and in-built chemo-receptors to hunt for food.

For those of you who are curious, I belong to the same family as stingray so therefore I have a "sting" or a barb in my tail. The barb is coated with necrotizing venom meaning its flesh eating. We use our barb when we are surprised by sudden movement or we feel that we are in danger. But in nature we are not aggressive; we prefer to swim away than use our venomous barb.

Where can you find me in Aquaria?
You can find me happily swimming in our main tank or we call it The Living Ocean.

I'm currently 150 kg and 3 meters wide.

Diet
My favourite meal would include crabs, fish, squid and other shellfish.

Habitat & Range
In the wild, you can find in me warm tropical waters from very shallow depth to as deep as 439 meters.
